Design is everything
We started with discovery. We interviewed Svala’s team, studied their customers and audited the old store’s analytics to see exactly where shoppers were dropping off.
From there we moved into design, building a visual language around Svala’s identity: generous whitespace, large imagery and typography that lets the products lead. Every page was designed for mobile first.
Under the hood, optimised images, lean code and a minimal set of third-party apps keep pages fast on mobile. The store is built to be accessible too, with strong colour contrast, keyboard navigation and descriptive alt text throughout.
